Installing Zenith

The file you get given doubles as a bootstrapper and UI. We've crafted Zenith to be portable and easy to work with. Once you get your hands on it, and download it, everything else is taken care for you - you don't need to do anything!

This includes dependencies for you too. So you can worry-not.

Common Issues

Anti-Virus

Due to the nature of Zenith, your anti-virus may flag Zenith as "malicious". This is what is known as a "False Positive".

In order to stop this, we suggest you add Zenith's files as an exclusion for your anti-virus, you can do this through your anti-virus settings. If you don't have a dedicated anti-virus installed, Windows Defender is what would flag Zenith.

Simply head to the settings, Windows Security, Virus & threat protection settings, and "Exclusions".

Install Errors

If you're getting installation errors, there's typically a few reasons why:

  1. You're running Zenith! Make sure you don't have Zenith running already whilst trying to re-install it.
  2. The anti-virus issue above often causes issues. Please ensure you have Zenith set as an exclusion.
  3. Permissions. Please try to run the installer as an administrator.
